Meet the people behind Blockly
Rachel leads the Blockly team and is passionate about accessibility. Rachel is currently working toward a Master's in Education at San Francisco State University. Outside of work she likes bikes, power tools, and fun facts.
Maribeth is Blockly’s Tech Lead. She helps corral our rowdy gang of 20% contributors. Recently she's been working on transitioning Blockly's repository, making it easier for developers to contribute to the project.
Aaron helps build the open source Blockly library for creating block-based educational coding experiences. He holds a BS in Computer Science from UCSB and worked on a computer science curriculum for young people.
Joe is supporting Blockly's transition from Google to the Raspberry Pi Foundation. His current projects include establishing Blockly product marketing page and supporting community ecosystem events like Blockly Summit 2026!
